Movement as Medicine

Movement has been used as a form of medicine in Chinese therapeutic tradition for thousands of years. The Huangdi Neijing describes therapeutic exercise as a way to regulate circulation, resolve stagnation, and strengthen the body. When appropriate, I offer simple, individualized exercises to support recovery, improve mobility, and help stabilize the results of treatment.

My approach draws on my ongoing training in xingyi quan, Yang-style taiji, and neigong, including the system of Wang Ji Wu. These practices use precise, intentional movement to restore coordination, build internal strength, and support long-term health.
